Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee nominates for Presbytery Commissioners' approval persons who might serve on Work Groups and Committees. Anyone may nominate others on the floor at Presbytery meetings. Presbytery Council nominates for Presbytery Commissioners' approval persons who might serve on the Nominating Committee. Regular elections for most work groups and committees are every May, but vacant positions may be filled by elections at any Stated Meeting of the PTCA.

To learn more about serving on a committee, work group, or Presbytery Council, you can send the Nominating Committee a Skill Bank Form that outlines your interests, talents, and where you'd like to serve. All PTCA members are welcome to submit a Skill Bank form to the Nominating Committee at any time. If neither of the below electronic methods work for you, you may also contact Office Manager Risa Anderson at office@ptcaweb.org or 612-871-7281, ext. 16, to request that she mail you a paper copy or e-mail it as an attachment.

Volunteer on a Committee or nominate a Friend

The Presbytery also welcomes your nomination of others - sometimes friends know friends' gifts best. The Nominating Committee will then contact nominees to determine their interest and availability.

To "snail mail" a Skill Bank Form:
Print it, fill it out, and mail it. If you don't have Acrobat Reader to read the PDF version of the Skill Bank Form, you can download Reader for FREE from the Adobe website .

To e-mail a Skill Bank Form:
Save on to your computer the Microsoft Word version of the Skill Bank Form, use the tab key or your mouse to jump into the gray boxes where you type your answers, save your changes, and e-mail your response as an attachment to nominating@ptcaweb.org.

To inquire about serving on a particular committee, or about current vacancies, please contact the Nominating Committee (nominating@ptcaweb.org). The Skill Bank Form also offers an opportunity to mark which group(s) interest you.
