SHEPHERD identifies SHPC as a congregation that trusts, above all else, in the tender mercies and leading of the Good Shepherd. Of the HILL locates us on the hill in Chaska and points to three mountaintop experiences: the feeding of the 5,000, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Transfiguration. Worship is the dynamic center of everything we do. Sermons are carefully prepared but delivered extemporaneously. Minneapolis, Minn., Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church

Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church is an intergenerational church of about 130 members, serving the neighborhoods of South Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Sunday morning worship makes full use of lay participation, often incorporating drama, visual arts, and music. Educational classes encourage students of all ages to explore the intersections between life and faith, with a solid grounding in Biblical studies and Reformed theology. Service incorporates individual interests, ranging from delivering meals and supporting the food shelf to flood relief and international partnerships. Known in the Presbytery for its quiet spirit of inclusiveness, Lake Nokomis makes its mark in the neighborhood through a pioneering partnership with the adjacent public elementary school, and through candlelight and soft music during Advent and Lenten meditation services. Minneapolis, Minn., Stadium Village Church

Stadium Village Church is a worshiping, teaching, serving and sending international community at the University of Minnesota, proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord. From its beginning as a mission Sunday School in 1888 and formation as Bethany Presbyterian Church, Stadium Village Church has grown and changed as the surrounding neighborhood has evolved from new development to established middle-class to deteriorating inner city to a redeveloping University community. Through the years, Stadium Village Church has maintained an emphasis on the Biblical teachings of Reformed Christianity, coupled with an evangelical spirit of outreach and ministry. North St. Paul, Minn., North Presbyterian Church

North Presbyterian Church in North St. Paul is a congregation of 375 members from a diverse background. Many of us did not grow up Presbyterian. Many have young and growing families. Many are nearing or in retirement. We emphasize family working together in ministry and mission. We share in ministry with two churches beyond the bounds of our own congregation: First Presbyterian Church, Flandreau, South Dakota, a Native American congregation and the Hungarian Reformed Church in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. Plymouth, Minn., Plymouth Presbyterian Church

Plymouth Presbyterian Church was chartered in 1990 and moved into its new building in 1995. The church of 400 members has nearly 200 children and youth, about half of which are second grade and under. It provides a full range of programs and opportunities for youth and adults of all ages in fellowship, education, music and service to others and actively encourages children to worship with their families, including a participation sermon to involve them experientially in the worship experience. The church offers sign interpretation at its worship service each Sunday at 9:30.

Located on historic Summit Avenue in St. Paul, The House of Hope Presbyterian Church has a longstanding tradition of celebrating God’s glory through worship, music, art, education and service. Woodbury, Minn., Trinity Presbyterian Church

Trinity Presbyterian is a warm, friendly and growing church of approximately 190 members ministering to each other, sharing joys and sorrows and providing a nurturing environment for all. High priorities are music, prayer and Christian Education, including a midweek LOGOS program with significant participation by the children, youth and adults of the church. Our congregation is comprised of one- and two-parent families with babies and children, older couples and singles of all ages.
