Interim Worship Leader (Part-Time), Aldrich Avenue Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis

Responsibilities: Selecting 5 songs each week in coordination with the pastor; leading the worship team through practice time from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM; (a mixture of hymns and choruses); lead worship on Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Compensation: $100 / week during the months of June, July and August. If you can only do one or two months, or need vacation time, let us know, we can be flexible.

Minister of Administration (Full-Time), Dayton Avenue Presbyterian, St. Paul

Dayton Avenue Presbyterian Church, an urban, liberal, and diverse Christian congregation, is seeking a positive, experienced administrator to join its ministry team. The MOA provides leadership resulting in the smooth operation of church programs and business and advancement of the mission of the church. Key functions include support for pastor, church leaders, and committees; internal/external communications; information management; financial administration; and facility oversight.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • minimum 2 year degree in administration, or equivalent education plus five years work experience in admin position
  • ability to take initiative and work with multiple stakeholders with minimal oversight tact, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • proven experience with office procedures and equipment
  • demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software proven computer skills including database experience
  • experience with a faith community as member, volunteer, or staff

Nursery Attendant, Plymouth Presbyterian, Plymouth

Plymouth Presbyterian Church is seeking a caring, nurturing, well-organized individual to serve as their Nursery Attendant. This individual will be responsible for the care and safety of children aged infant – 5 years old, for providing appropriate activities for the children while in the nursery and for supervising the teen nursery workers. Interested candidates should be at least 18 years old, at least two years of experience providing daycare of young children and have current infant/child CPR and first aid certification. Youth Director (Full-Time)-First Presbyterian, Rochester

Full-time Christian Youth Director position (middle school and high school students) for a creative, highly motivated, self-starting, and energetic youth leader.  Individual will be responsible to effectively oversee Rochester's First Presbyterian Church's youth ministry and youth education programs - which entails program development and execution for students in grades six through twelve.  Key objectives include program growth and development, volunteer recruitment, training, management, curricula review and revision, and special event management (youth mission trips, school visits, etc.).  This staff position will work very close with the Pastor, Associate Pastor, as well as the Christian Education committee.  Applicants should have a strong interest and experience in working with youth groups.  Additionally, the successful applicant will have a part in helping to develop the evolving education program at FPC.  If interested, please send a letter of introduction and resume to: job@fpcrochester.org.

Office duties include answering the phone, preparing and running off bulletins with a Church Family News insert, the monthly newsletter and all other church mailings. Additional duties include administrative support of all staff members along with a focus on the financial side including reconciling bank statements, tracking contributions, posting payroll, making journal entries and printing checks. Office skills require computer fundamentals and desirable experience with the following software: CMS (Church Management System), MS Word, MS Publisher and internet/e-mail. Director of Youth Ministry (Part-Time), Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Buffalo

The Director of Youth Ministry will manage a program for middle school and high school students which will help them commit to a personal relationship with Christ, grow in their understanding and knowledge of the scriptures, and become responsible, compassionate Christians.
     The time commitment for the position is 15 to 20 hours per week--primarily on Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
     Applicants should have background and an interest in working with adolescents and helping youth develop their Christian faith. They should be willing to use reformed/Presbyterian educational materials and have an interest in connecting with denominational resources and programs.

Wednesday Evening Kids' Ministry Coordinator, Hope Presbyterian Church, Richfield

Hope Church is looking for a Wednesday Evening Kids' Ministry Coordinator to work 12 hours per week, 12 months a year.
