During major Christian celebrations such as Christmas and Easter, the Anuak Christians continue a cherished tradition of coming together to worship and to share delicious meals. These gatherings express the joy of unity in Christ and ensure that no one in the community goes hungry during these special seasons.

While spending Easter with family is meaningful, many Anuak believers hold that celebrating the resurrection alongside fellow Christians brings an even deeper sense of spiritual connection. In addition to this tradition, more than 60% of Anuak men and women do not have their parents and grant parents in their new home. Having such fellowship, and shared meals, the community strengthens its bond and reflects the love that Christ calls His people to embody.
