The Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations (PMUN) will host a delegation of Presbyterian young adults (roughly ages 18-25) to attend the first week of the High Level Political Forum (July 7-10, 2026) in New York City. Ideal applicants are college or graduate school students interested in international development, global ministries, and social justice. Our goal is to engage young people in social witness, develop future leaders, and inspire young adults to be agents of change. The link to the application is here.

Each delegate will receive an official UN grounds pass, giving them access to the UN HLPF proceedings and side events in New York. Delegates will also participate in events hosted by civil society organizations. In addition to UN events, delegates will participate in events hosted by PMUN to form a network of young Presbyterian advocates and activists. Delegates are expected to attend in person from Monday, July 6th to Friday, July 10th.
Delegates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Delegates can reach out to their church, presbytery, or synod for support. The PMUN team is looking into finding affordable housing options for our young adult delegates during the Forum. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.
We look forward to continuing this exciting initiative and engaging with young adults in our denomination! If you are interested in participating in this year's delegation, kindly complete this application form by Tuesday, May 26th, 2026. The official UN registration deadline to receive a grounds pass for the Forum is Monday, June 1st, so we highly encourage all interested applicants to submit their applications before the 26th. Please share this widely with any young adults you may know. If you have any questions or would like any more information, please do not hesitate to contact PMUN’s Advocacy Associate, Clare Balsan, by email (clare.balsan@pcusa.org) or phone (502-612-6130).
