Presbytery Treasurer Position Open

The Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area is looking for a new Treasurer and we need your help. The Treasurer serves as an officer for the Presbytery, therefore the person filling that role needs to be a Ruling Elder (or eligible to be a Ruling Elder) or Teaching Elder in the PC(USA). Because of this requirement, we are not posting the position widely on job boards. Please share the opportunity with your congregations in your church newsletters or announcements. We are seeking to fill this position as soon as possible.

The Treasurer is a part-time position that requires about 8-10 hours per week. The Treasurer is responsible for overall administration of financial matters of the Presbytery, and supervises the Accountant, who provides bookkeeping services. The Treasurer must be computer literate and knowledgeable of Word, Excel, and account management processes. It is preferable if the Treasurer also has working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
